Is my Shampoo safe? If it is not safe for animals how it is supposed to be safe for me?

I found a label on my shampoo that says, ';Not tested on Animals';. Is the manufacture a crazy animal lover that they believe immoral for the shampoo to be used on animals, but they can have a clear conscience to test it on humans? Is there a shampoo that says something like tested and found safe for use on animals and humans?Is my Shampoo safe? If it is not safe for animals how it is supposed to be safe for me?

LOL! I would not worry unless it is an unknown brand and you got it from some obscure store that you don't even know who actually made it. Many shampoos are not tested on animals now. That's not because they are unsafe for animals. Shampoos have been around for long, and a lot about what chemicals to include and what not to include are already known because of animal testing done in the past. it never said it wasn't safe for animals, just that it wasn't tested on them. they keep animals in cages/poor conditions and torture them when they test them, be happy that you brought shampoo that isn't tested on animals.

If you're worried , use a shampoo that your friends use . It is not necessary for manufacturers to test it on animals right ? Because most of the shampoos DID NOT write , '; Tested on Animals ';
